The motivation behind the restoration of this Historic Flag, on July 4, 2000 I rededicated it to the City of Sault Ste. Marie. Twice a year, Tom Robinson and myself change the bulbs.

Tony & Dr. Tom Robinson change the light bulbs at the Historic American Flag twice a year. Tony spearheaded the restoration of this piece of Soo history, with work done by Soo Welding & Roy Electric.

Tony get the opportunity each summer to travel 3 hours north of Marquette to Stannard Rock Lighthouse in the middle of Lake Superior to catch Lake Trout.
We get dressed up for important Holidays like, Vetrans Day, Flag Day, the Fourth of July and more.
A typical 4th of July, Flag Day, Memorial Day, Patriot Day or Veterans Day at 406 Ashmun Street. We decorate for the Holiday!
